推拿按摩 Tuina Massage

Traditional Chinese Massage

  • Tuina massage is based on various techniques such as pushing, stroking, pressing, rubbing, tapping, and patting, as well as vibration techniques.
  • During a Tuina massage, the patient is usually treated while sitting or lying down, often through a cloth. Massage oils or special herbal ointments may also be used for direct application on the skin.

Treatment Procedure

Tuina massage is particularly effective for musculoskeletal disorders, but also for a wide range of other conditions such as osteoarthritis, post-stroke rehabilitation, injuries, muscle tension, and much more.

Unlike Western massage techniques, Tuina requires a thorough Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) diagnosis as an essential foundation.

Tuina is also widely used in pediatrics, where children tend to respond very positively and effectively to the treatment.
